Abstract

This article examines the role of international trade in the economic development of developing countries. The study focuses on how trade expands market access, attracts foreign investment, increases employment, and improves production efficiency. It also discusses key challenges faced by developing nations, such as dependence on primary commodities, price volatility, and trade barriers imposed by developed economies. The article concludes that with appropriate policies, infrastructure development, and fair trade practices, international trade can significantly contribute to sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction.
