This article discusses the role of the ginger plant in folk medicine, its uses, and its health benefits. Ginger has been used as a medicinal herb by various peoples since ancient times. It is mainly used to improve digestion, treat colds, strengthen immunity, reduce pain, and fight inflammation. The chemical composition, pharmacological properties, and experiences of its use in folk medicine were analyzed in the study based on scientific literature. At the same time, its place in modern medicine and precautionary measures are also given special attention
