This article analyzes the theoretical, methodological, and empirical foundations of ensuring the interconnection between education and upbringing in the preschool education system. The integrity of the pedagogical process and the interrelation between education and upbringing are considered important factors in the comprehensive development of a child's personality in intellectual, moral, social, and aesthetic directions. The integrated organization of education and upbringing is substantiated based on psychological and pedagogical theories, advanced foreign experience, and domestic practical observations. The article also analyzes the conditions for ensuring interconnection in preschool educational institutions, the role of the teacher’s personality, and the importance of cooperation between the family and the educational institution. This approach is evaluated as an important pedagogical criterion for the formation of a comprehensively developed child’s personality.
