Food Allergy In Children: Current State Of The Problem And Methods

Food allergy in children is one of the most significant problems in modern pediatrics and clinical allergology. The aim of this study is to analyze current data on the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of food allergies in children. The study is based on the analysis of recent scientific literature and clinical data related to pediatric food allergy. In recent decades, there has been a steady increase in the prevalence of allergic diseases, which is associated with adverse environmental factors, changes in dietary patterns, as well as the characteristics of immune system development in childhood.
