Abstract

This article examines methods for developing speech breathing, voice production, and correct sound pronunciation in deaf and hard-of-hearing children. It substantiates the importance of breathing exercises, articulatory gymnastics, and visual-tactile methods in activating the speech apparatus. The paper also analyzes issues related to the gradual instruction of speech sounds, the control of vocal intensity and timbre, and the development of phonemic perception. The pedagogical approach emphasizes the necessity of taking individual characteristics into account and fostering cooperation with parents. These methods serve to effectively remediate speech defects.
