Abstract

This article examines the psychological characteristics typical of adolescence, as well as the dynamics of their interrelationships. To understand adolescent psychology, it is necessary to focus on three key aspects: identifying age-related characteristics associated with the process of physical maturation; understanding the social status of adolescents as a specific stage of both an age group and the process of socialization; and analyzing how these two processes interact and integrate within the behavior and psyche of the individual. This type of development is explained as a movement from society to the individual, representing the process of socialization, the inclusion of the individual into culture, the acquisition of socially necessary knowledge, norms, and values, and involvement in socially productive activity
