This article examines the scientific legacy of Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abu Ishaq al-Kalabazi and his contribution to the development of Islamic thought, particularly Sufism and Hadith studies. It analyzes his life, scholarly activity, works, and the content of his famous book “Al-Ta’arruf li Madhhab Ahl alTasawwuf.” The study also provides information about manuscripts, editions, commentaries, and the research of his works by both Eastern and Western scholars. It is emphasized that al-Kalabazi’s legacy is an important source for preserving the authentic essence of Sufism, strengthening Islamic belief, and systematizing religious thought
