Abstract

This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of the policy of dekulakization implemented by the Soviet Union in Uzbekistan during the 1920s and 1930s, as well as its impact on national values, traditional lifestyle, the family institution, the mahalla governance system, and the spiritualideological life of society. The economic, social, spiritual, and demographic consequences of dekulakization are examined on the basis of historical sources, field data, and scientific literature. The article highlights the genesis of the process, its connection with Soviet ideological doctrines, the psychological and socio-political trauma it left on the public consciousness, and the long-term effects on national identity and historical memory from an academic perspective.
