Abstract

Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) remains one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide, necessitating its early and accurate diagnosis. High-sensitivity troponins are modern biomarkers of myocardial injury and enable the detection of even minimal changes in cardiac tissue. This paper examines the significance of high-sensitivity troponins in the early diagnosis of ACS, their diagnostic sensitivity and specificity, as well as their advantages over traditional diagnostic methods. Particular attention is paid to their role in risk stratification and in selecting appropriate treatment strategies for patients. The use of high-sensitivity troponins facilitates earlier disease detection, reduces diagnostic errors, and improves patient prognosis.
