This study explores innovative approaches to developing students’ digital competencies through the use of game technologies in the educational process. In the context of rapid digital transformation, enhancing students’ digital literacy and ICT skills has become a key priority. Game-based learning and gamification are considered effective tools for increasing student engagement, motivation, and active participation in lessons. The research analyzes modern pedagogical strategies that integrate digital games, interactive platforms, and simulation tools into teaching practices. Special attention is given to the role of game technologies in fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity among learners. The study also highlights the practical benefits and challenges of implementing such approaches in educational institutions. The findings suggest that the integration of game technologies significantly contributes to the development of students’ digital competencies and supports more effective and personalized learning environments.
